About Me

How do you conjure a story of yourself that can fit on a page like this? What can be said to distill the entirety of my life into a few bite sized chunks that make it possible to understand who I am and where I’m coming from?
The task is impossible. One could no more understand a person from a few sentences than one could understand the ocean by capturing a beaker-full of seawater. I’ve been married for almost 9 years and I can’t say I understand my wife any more today than I did the day I first met her! How could a few well crafted sentences help anyone actually come to know me?
That said: I am interested in philosophy (eastern and western), psychology, linguistics, business, the internet, cognitive science, physics, astronomy, electronic dance music, green tea, absinthe, parenting, friendship, dysfunction and the great mystery.
